Featuring the most advanced systems dynamic weather and track conditions, 24-hour cycles, modeling of barometric pressure, wind speeds and varying temperatures – all constantly evolving from session to session. AMS2 gives you full control so races progress exactly how you want, ensuring no lap is the same.
REAL TIME
– Real Weather links the ultra advanced AMS2 with a global weather data system to provide real-time weather for all locations present in the game – this means that if you select the current date and time for a race at Silverstone and if it is raining there, you will have the same time in AMS2; if it stopped raining a few hours earlier, the track will still be wet in real life, and similarly, it will still be wet in AMS2. However, Real Weather doesn’t just mimic current weather conditions – it collates data for every day over the last 40 years for every track in the game, allowing users to replay historic races in variable weather very close to how they actually happened.
MOTORSPORTS RULES AND REGULATIONS
– Automobilista 2 also features one of the most complete sets of rules and regulations of any racing simulator, allowing users to emulate the rules of most of the major series in the world. In V1.4, we’ve expanded that reach with the introduction of oval racing and support for Full Course Yellow. AM2 also allows users to customize multi-class races with the exact number of opponents from each class they desire.
