The stage is set in the Harde Republic, a land steeped in wonder and shadowed by a looming prophecy. A cataclysmic event, the Maelstrom, threatens to consume all, and you, the traveling storyteller Volepain, find yourself entangled in this desperate struggle for survival.
Foretales presents a sprawling narrative with multiple branching paths. You’ll guide Volepain through key decisions, navigating conversations and pivotal moments that influence the story’s direction. Every action, from traversing treacherous landscapes to facing off against adversaries, is translated into a unique card-based encounter.
