A special collector’s edition version of the game was released containing a behind-the-scenes look at the game, a free set of avatar outfits if the game comes to the Xbox 360, an exclusive set of house crest magnets, and an interview about the creation of mortal Relics. The game, along with Years 5-7, was re-released for the PlayStation 4 on October 21, 2016 as a remastered collection, including updated graphics and resolution, as well as including all previously released DLC.
Gameplay
The game is based on the first four books and films in the Harry Potter series: Philosopher’s Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoners of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire. The main playable characters are Harry, Ron and Hermione. The game features a total of 167 characters that can be unlocked by finding special tokens hidden around secret places and Hogwarts level quests and purchasing them from Madam Malkin’s Shop. Sub-quests include the quest for red bricks, the golden wizard’s hats, the aforementioned character tokens, and the wizard’s true achievements. Harry and his friends learn to use spells, charms, zices and brew potions, as well as visiting many familiar places such as Hogwarts castle, Diagon Alley, the Forbidden Forest and Hogsmeade.
