The game takes place in the same universe that emerged, after the events of the massive asylum slaughter. Murkoff is also scheduled to appear. According to the developers, the main setting takes place in an isolated village, located somewhere in the canyons of Arizona. Blake Langermann, a cameraman, with his wife Lynn, travels to southern Arizona to investigate the murder of a Jane Doe. The woman was previously found eight months pregnant on the side of the road before committing suicide at the hospital she was brought to, according to facility records. Due to the desert climate and the region being inaccessible by land vehicles, the two take a helicopter to reach their destination, which ends up colliding with unknown complications. Blake wakes up some time later, with Lynn nowhere to be seen. Later, Blake realizes that he has become trapped in a village with cult members who believe the end times are upon them. Your main objective is to find Lynn and escape the hostile villagers alive.
The story begins with a voice calling Blake and then shouting. Blake is awakened by his wife, Lynn, who says she was screaming another woman’s name in her sleep. When he turns around, he sees a young girl, and behind the girl is a large rush of blood. Waking up to the crash, Blake breaks free from a door and crosses the main body by helicopter. He then walks up to the pilot and is horrified by the terrible discovery: his pilot has been skinned and fixed to a cross. He discovers a town that appears deserted, but the townspeople appear to be avoiding him initially. All around him are dead cows; Recently dead and misery. Soon, he goes down a certain area and sees the remains of dead babies. After snapping out of it, Blake goes outside and hears someone speaking cryptically, which turns out to be Marta. Blake carefully avoids Marta as he continues his journey onwards.
