Set a few years after the terrible events of the critically acclaimed Resident Evil 7 bioharzard, the new plot begins with Ethan Winters and his wife Mia living peacefully in a new place, free from the nightmares of the past. And, just as they were building a new life together, a tragedy strikes them again.
First person action. Players take on the role of Ethan Winters and experience each battle up close and terrifying chase from a first-person perspective. Chris Redfield is a typical hero of the Resident Evil series, but his appearance in Resident Evil Village Torrent seems to involve him in sinister motivations. A horde of new enemies inhabiting the village will tirelessly hunt Ethan and hinder his every move as he tries to assimilate the new nightmare he finds himself in.
Resident Evil Village Torrent has been in development for approximately three years before its announcement in June 2020.
