One day, SpongeBob wakes up, excited to go to Glove World, before jumping onto Patrick’s rock to wake Patrick up. Patrick, however, is not ready yet, before heading to Sandy’s Treedome, to help Sandy with the scattered tikis. After that, Patrick is ready and the two go to the world of gloves. Two hours later, SpongeBob sees a group of cool kids and tries to fit in with them, before leaving, much to his chagrin. That’s when a random train car teleports out of nowhere, and SpongeBob starts climbing through the trash, before laying eyes on a mysterious potion. Next, the shopkeeper, who introduces herself as Madame Kassandra, explains the purpose of the item, which is called, Magic Bubble Soap, and how it grants those wishes to the current user.
SpongeBob then takes it to home and he and Patrick use it to create exclusive bubbles for their friends, which ends up drawing a cheering crowd. Patrick then becomes suspicious and reads the labels to SpongeBob, about it belonging to King Neptune and how mortals should not use it carelessly. That’s when a portal starts sucking up everything from the bikini bottom, including its residents, and then decides to rescue them and restore the bikini bottom. Meanwhile, Patrick is turned into a balloon.
After venturing into the destroyed bikini bottom, the two end up bumping into Kassandra again and explaining her situation about overusing Magic Bubble soap. Kassandra then explains the jelly, known as cosmic jelly, which allows them to travel through different wish worlds, which friends of hers have been scattered about. She then gives SpongeBob a costume to match the theme of that specific wish world, before SpongeBob and Patrick head out to save Bikini Bottom, unaware of Kassandra’s true intentions.
