Story
Link Awakens from a deep sleep and a mysterious voice guides you to discover what happened to the ruined kingdom of Hyrule Kingdom. Link leaves the resurrection shrine, runs to the edge and looks at the ruins of the Hyrule kingdom. Link then meets an old man, who will give him the paraglider, which is the only way to get to Hyrule. The old man wants the spirit orbs, in the shrines, respectively, the Omani shrine, the Ja Baij shrine, the Owa Daim shrine, and the Keh Namut shrine. After Link receives the Spirit Orbs, the old man appears and then mysteriously disappears, telling Link to meet him at the temple of time. The old man reveals himself to be the spirit of the late king of Hyrule, King Rhoam. Link learns from King Rhoam that 100 years earlier, a great evil known as Calamity Ganon rose and squandered the kingdom and its people. Unable to be defeated, he was sealed in Hyrule Castle while the ruins of the land were ravaged by nature over time. Although imprisoned, the Calamity Ganon has grown in power, and Link must defeat him before he breaks free once again and destroys the world.
The mysterious voice turns out to be Zelda, who is the daughter of King Rhoam. After escaping the confines of the Great Plateau, Link is directed to meet the Sheikah Elder Impa, and learn about the Guardians and Divine Beasts: 10,000 years before these machines were created and successfully used by another hero and another princess to defeat the Calamity Ganon. . But over the ages, knowledge of ancient technology was lost until excavations in the kingdom of Hyrule brought them to light once again, coinciding with the expected return of the Ganon calamity a hundred years ago. The guardians were reactivated and four champions were chosen to control the divine beasts: Princess Zora Mipha, the Goron Warrior Daruk, the Gerudo Chieftain Urbosa, and the Rito Archer Revali. All the while, Princess Zelda was unsuccessfully trying to gain access to her own prophesied powers, accompanied on her quests by her knight, the Hylian Champion Link. When Calamity Ganon finally struck, it devastated the realm of Hyrule Kingdom, taking control of the ancient machines and turning them against the Hirulen. As a last resort, Princess Zelda managed to place the seriously injured Link in the resurrection shrine and use her awakened sealing powers to trap Calamity Ganon in Hyrule Castle.
While Link sets out on his quest to defeating Calamity Ganon, he is asked to investigate the fate of the divine beasts and their former champions. His ultimate goal, however, remains to reach Calamity Ganon and free the imprisoned Princess Zelda before the entire world is put to waste. But with the entire realm of Hyrule Kingdom before him to explore, it is up to himself to decide how he wishes to fulfill his foretold role as Hylian Champion and save Hyrule Kingdom.
