The game is inspired by one of Borderlands 2’s most popular DLCs, called Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, which placed the main Borderlands characters in a tabletop RPG game led by the eccentric and explosive Tiny Tina, a girl from 13 years old who loves dynamite and unicorns. In this DLC, the characters lived a medieval fantasy adventure, with dragons, knights, wizards and other creatures typical of the genre.
In the game, you can create your own multiclass hero, choosing between six unique skill trees , which allow you to combine different play styles and powers. You can customize your hero with different appearance options, weapons, armor and accessories. You can also count on the help of a group of charismatic and fun characters, such as Captain Valentine, a born leader who seeks justice; the robot Frette, obsessed with rules who wants to maintain order in the match; and the Fairy Punchfather, a muscular fairy who gives you advice and punches.
The objective of the game is to defeat the Dragon Lord, a tyrannical villain who wants to dominate the fantasy world created by Tiny Tina. To do this, you’ll have to explore a vast open world, full of varied and interesting locations, such as majestic cities, humid mushroom forests, spooky fortresses, and dungeons filled with monsters and treasures. You will have to face diverse and challenging enemies such as talking skeletons, land sharks, colossal bosses and much more. You’ll be able to use powerful weapons and devastating spells to fight your opponents in frantic and fun battles.
The game also has an online cooperative mode for up to four players, who can team up to complete main and secondary missions, challenges specials and dynamic events that take place in the game world. Additionally, the game has a season pass that includes four additional content packs with new classes to choose from, new dungeons to explore, new bosses to face, new items to collect, and new environments to discover.
Tiny Tinas Wonderlands is a game full of humor, creativity and chaos, which promises to please fans of Borderlands and fantasy games in general. The game has been available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S since March 25, 2023.
